Career Preparation in My Junior Year
In the beginning of junior year of university, a lot of students will consider their career path seriously. There are some students who have definitely decided their career before being admitted to university, on the other hand, other students have not made that decision. Junior year is an important point for students to reconsider their choice of career path.
I already decided my career path at 17 years old, but I’ve changed my mind during my time at university. As a junior, I have decided to attend graduate school, but as a sophomore I thought I wanted to work in a company or be a government employee. Each decision was a really serious and steady choice for me, but many people thought it was not good to make changes so easily. The problem gave me an enormous amount of stress.
Students should think about what is needed to get a desired career. There may be required qualifications like TOEIC or experience volunteering or doing internship sand club activity. Getting a desired outcome promptly is difficult so we must plan and follow through. There will be many difficulties and decisions to make during junior year. Summer vacation of junior year is a preparation period to obtain a desired career.

三年生になってから、多くの大学生は進路について悩む時期になっただろう。大学入学前から将来の職業について悩んでいた人もいるだろうし、一方入学前から決めていた人もいただろう。どちらの学生にとっても大学三年生というのは自分の将来について考え直す大事な時期だろう。
私は１７歳のときには自分の将来の職業について決めていたが、大学生活を通して変わったこともあった。三年生の現在では大学院に進むことに決めているが、二年生の時は一般企業か公務員になろうと思っていた。どちらの選択も私にとって真剣で確固たるものだったが、そのように簡単に将来の道を変えるのは良くないと思う人もいると思う。このような進路について真剣に悩む時間というのは、私に莫大なストレスと将来についての明確なイメージをもたらした。
学生たちは自身の将来に何が必要なのか考える必要があるだろう。この先の就活ではTOEICのような資格や、ボランティアやインターンシップ、サークルでの経験が要求されるかもしれない。望んだ結果をすぐに得ることは難しいため、私たちは計画しやり遂げなければいけない。そのために三年生の間に多くの決断と困難があるだろう。大学三年生の夏休みは、望む将来を手に入れるための最後の準備期間だと考えられた。
