Decisions and Challenges in the Spring Semester
Before I graduated from high school, I had been shy and reluctant to speak in public. I started to make efforts to change myself when I became a university student. As soon as I entered university, I spoke to the person that sat next to me during orientation. I also actively participated and asked questions to professors and senior students. They treated me kindly, so I was glad that I challenged myself to go outside of my comfort zone.
In addition, I wanted to improve my English proficiency, so I decided to write this blogpost. English has been my favorite subject since I was a child. I have also been gradually studying other languages that I’m interested in by myself. It’s an amazing feeling to see and hear more and more languages in the city that I can understand.
In the future, I want to be a global person who can play an active role in society. IT professionals are becoming more important and there are greater demands placed on the profession. I’m very interested in recent global developments using IT. In order to work in IT, I will also learn related subjects such as mathematics and physics. I want to develop a broader understanding and develop a creative mindset.

決意と挑戦の春
私は高校生の頃まで、人見知りで、人前に立ってお話をすることに対して積極的に参加することがありませんでした。大学生になるのを機に、新しい自分に生まれ変わる努力をし始めました。大学に入学してすぐ、私はオリエンテーションで隣に座っていた人に話しかけました。また、私はオリエンテーションに積極的に参加し、教授の方々や先輩方への質問も積極的にしました。みなさんが優しく接してくれたので、自分にとって居心地の良い領域から飛び出し、新しいことに挑戦して良かったと思いました。
更に、私は英語の習熟度を高めたかったので、このブログ記事を書くことを決めました。私は、幼い頃から英語が大好きです。また、自分の興味のある他の言語についても、少しずつですが独学で勉強しています。街中で見かけたり、聞こえてきたりする言語で、自分が理解出来るものがどんどん増えていくのは、とても良い気分になります。
将来、私は国内外問わずに活躍出来る人材になりたいです。ITの専門家は増々重要になってきており、より需要のある職業となってきています。私は、近頃のITを用いた世界的な発展にとても興味があります。IT業界で働くために、私は、数学や物理といった関連のある教科についても学びます。私は、より多くの理解を深め、自分の創造力を伸ばしていきたいです。
